>>>#29/5/22 Time to get serious

If the world is ending, I rather listen to the 50s songs.  Things were less complicated then.

I never thought I will enjoy the 50s songs.  Indeed they are great songs.  Personally, I think these were the Happy Days of the USA.

The USA reached a peak under President Truman, In the period from August 1945 (when World War 2 ended) until August 1949 when the USSR tested its first atomic ...

Most Trump supporters would look to the 1950s when America was the wealthiest and most powerful nation on Earth. Jobs were pretty plentiful, even for the unskilled. We were a nation united with a mission to make the world safe for democracy, thanks to the Cold War. The economic good times would continue well into the 1960s, ending roughly around 1972. Our nation came as close to owning the planet as any other in history. (And hey, both cigarettes and muscle cars were cheaper back then!)

My thought lingers on Els.  Indeed she is my Kitty Kat Pet.  The Oh Carol song is on air.  What do these 50s songs teach me?  Especially the song Tell Laura I Love Her.  Like them, I am a romantic.

Yes, indeed, Happy Days.

I do thought of letting go, but then is that necessary?

I have to fight my own shadow.

She never says no.

I might be making the wrong assumption.

She makes me happy.  Sarah feels the same way too.

Els is a special girl.

I should hold on to her.

#traxxfm It's 2:30 am. I was awakened by a blocked air passage. So here I am going through the 1950s collection until I come across this song: youtube.com/watch?v=TnEtvt It falls under (more) songs to slow dance to in the kitchen at 2 a.m. with the one you love.
